The International Environmental Forum “Ecology. Education. Science” took place on March 2 in Kyiv at the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. The event, which was attended by leading scientists from Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, and Hungary, was organized by the International Association of University Ecologists in collaboration with the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the M.P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University, and the Institute of Ecology, Economics, and Law.
At the official opening of the International Forum, speeches were delivered by Anatoliy Tolstoukhov, President of the International Association of University Ecologists; Vasyl Kremin, President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine; Viktor Andrushchenko, Rector of the M.P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University; and Mykhailo Borisyuk, Head of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Management, and the Elimination of the Consequences of the Chernobyl Disaster.
